ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
OVERVIEW AND AIM
M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women has a very active and vibrant Alumni Association. The Alumni of the college, who have proven their mettle both at professional and personal levels, are active members of the Association They have been excellent Brand Ambassadors of the college, taking the name and fame of the college to greater heights. The aim of the association is to build a healthy network and a platform for academic and professional interaction and advancement.
The association meets twice a year: August 15th and on the Convocation Day of the college. The association decided on August 15th as its fixed annual Alumni Meet date every year. The meet has been very successful over the past five years with close to 500 alumni participating in the cultural event, games and get-together organised by the alumni association. In addition, department alumni meets also take place from time to time.

- Consultancy for alumni who are Entrepreneurs in marketing their products.
- Helping in new product developments in the respective field.
- Technical support for freshers in the Media industry (eg: camera hiring, editing etc)
- Business ideas and Workshops for alumni who are homemakers and wish to work from home.
HOW CAN THE ALUMNI HELP THEIR ALMA MATER?
- By offering their services as - Skill Trainers , Guest Faculty, Resource Persons for workshops
- By being a liaison between their organisation and the Placement Cell of the college for placements, internships and Training programmes.
- By being a great ‘Brand Ambassadors’ and increase the Brand equity of the college.
- Creation of Scholarship for Underprivileged Students.
- Creation of Endowment for Prizes and Medals.
