NATIONAL CADET CORPS

 The National Cadet Corps division of the college was started in the year 2003 with 52 cadets in army and 5 flight cadets. From inception till date our cadets have won many laurels.

RDC

The prestigious Republic day camp is held in Delhi in the month of January every year. The following cadets represented our college at the Delhi camp.

 SOCIAL SERVICE ACTIVITIES

  1. We received the “Manidaneyagar Sevagar Award” from Anbu Karangalin Anbu Illam for our social service activities.

The cadets have conducted over 150 social service activities till date.

Miss.NCC

Our cadets won MISS.NCC title for two years consecutively.

Cpl. Shalini Chandrasekaran won the title of Miss NCC 2005
CUO. V.Lokpria won the title of Miss NCC 2008.

Cadospark

Cadospark is a dynamic initiative taken by the NCC cadets of M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women. It is an inter school competition conducted exclusively for the Junior wing cadets of schools all over Chennai. The idea was to create an atmosphere similar to that of the Republic Day Camp, thereby helping them perform better in their camps.
